On 27 June, 100+ participants attended Kluwer’s legal event on “Data protection / GDPR – One year to go …”. Anouk Focquet, senior associate and data protection specialist at contrast, took participants through the “why?”, “who?”, “what?” and “how?” of data processing in the EU. Real life cases and questions, which contrast encounters in its day-to-day practice, were tackled head-on leading to an interesting debate and further questions.
