Yesterday we had a follow-up first aid training led by our colleagues and trained first aid responders Cathy Van den Branden and Michรจle de Clerck.
During this session, we refreshed our knowledge on how to correctly perform CPR. We also learned how to intervene when someone is choking (including the Heimlich), and the necessary steps to take in case of a stroke, a shock, or poisoning. Additionally, we were also taught how to detect and deal with hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia for diabetes patients.
