Biography
Michèle de Clerck is senior associate at contrast. She specialises in European and Belgian competition law, with specific expertise in merger control and the coordination of multijurisdictional notifications. Additionally, she has extensive experience in the Belgian regulation concerning foreign direct investments (“FDI”).
Michèle assists companies in all competition law questions related to their transactions, such as those concerning transaction documents, gun jumping, and the exchange of commercially sensitive information. She also regularly advises on various aspects of competition law, including the prohibition of anti-competitive agreements, the prohibition of abuse of dominance, and the prohibition of economic dependency.
