💡𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬💡

A new Royal Decree impacting the 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (Book X, Title 2 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law) has been adopted.

The Decree adds to the list of ‘information for the correct assessment of the commercial collaboration agreements’ to be included in the precontractual information document ("PID").

In addition, the Decree also clarifies which exclusivities must be included as part of the list of ‘important obligations’.

The changes shall apply to all commercial collaboration agreements concluded, amended or renewed as of 1 March 2025.
