Belgium’s agriculture and food supply chain regulations have undergone a significant update with the recent adoption of a new Royal Decree.

Here are the key points:

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰? The Decree adds to the ‘black’ and ‘grey’ lists of unfair market practices that are (deemed to be) unlawful pursuant to articles VI.109/5-6 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝? The Royal Decree applies to the agricultural and food supply chain, between suppliers with an annual turnover not exceeding 350 million euro and their customers.
